Berger/Cummins and our two firms individually support our clients in their efforts to build their labor capacity through technical and management training. Organizational development and institutional strengthening are at the core of our aspiration to build capabilities in the communities in which we work.
Louis Berger has undertaken training and capacity building programs for more than 50 years, and in developing countries and frontier markets. For example in Liberia, after installing a 10 MW power plant for the Liberia Electric Corporation (LEC), Berger/Cummins provided training and subsequent technical support to the local LEC staff. We provide training in partnership with schools, training centers, and firms using job-specific requirements as the basis for skills development.
